The first concert this year will start in Ireland on March the 2nd, and the tour will begin March 4th in Bournemouth traveling all throughout the UK and ending her performance in Newcastle on March 16th. For specific Florence and the Machine  tour dates, please see below.
How did this ginger indie pop rock band songstress, grace us with her presence? Thanks to BBC Introducing for all those praises across the music scene!
Their debut album, Lungs was released on July 6, 2009. It reached the top position on the UK Album Chart on January 17, 2010. Lungs won the 2010 BRIT Awards and they were even nominated for Best New Artist at the 53rd Grammy Awards!
Their next album, Ceremonials was released in October 2011 and was number one in the UK. Recently, rumor has it they will be performing at the Amy Winehouse tribute concert.

What made her who she is today?
Well Flo, also known as Florence Leontine Mary Welch was born on August 28th 1986 in Camberwell, South London. Was she born into talent? Well, her dad, Nick (advertising executive) and her mom, Evelyn (Dean of Arts at Queen Mary, University of London) think so! Their influence contributed to her enjoyment of rock and roll and respect for the arts.
Some say her fashion sense is a bit eclectic. But really who isn’t these days! Well on stage it’s a mix of scary gothic to every day just being prim and proper! And who doesn’t love her red curls!

Her brilliant band members include Isabella Summers (keyboards), Robert Ackroyd (guitar), Chris Hayden (drums), and Tom Monger (harp). Her album Lungs didn’t just include your regular drums, guitars string quartet but much more. From elevator shafts to stamping to wedding dresses, broken glass to coffins. What’s in store for a live performance?
Flo’s music is about touching the lives of people! So if you want to feel something more than just listening to instruments, you don’t want to miss her live performances.
